Sneak Peek at Eve's Big Girl Room + the Sheets I'm Obsessed With

This post is sponsored by Magic Linen.

Since Cillian arrived and we now have two boys, we thought it would work well to have the boys in the bedrooms connected by the Jack and Jill bathroom. So it was a great time to move Eve girl into the other bedroom and create a big girl room for her. I had this wall tapestry from her nursery (which I of course never finished) that was a great jumping off point for the room.

I wanted a neutral bedroom for her that had an organic feel with of course some little (big) girl magic. I fell in love with this bed from Restoration Hardware Outlet, and I knew right away that white linen sheets were the perfect topper. Linen has that organic no-fuss feel, which is perfect for a big girl room. I got Eve girl’s sheets from Magic Linen, and I’m so happy with them! I had bought a crib blanket for Flynn’s room a while back and loved it, so I knew the quality was great. But what really sold me is the fact that they offer custom sized duvet covers and sheets. I am a sucker for a good duvet tuck, especially with a platform bed like this, but I find that standard duvet and sheet sizes are never large enough to tuck well under the sides and bottom. I ordered a custom sized duvet cover for the oversized queen duvet I purchased. I also ordered a custom sized fitted sheet to fit the 11" mattress we have, and finally, I ordered a custom sized flat sheet that would tuck well under her bed. Not gonna lie, I kinda want to sleep in her bed. She has the most comfortable bed in the house now.

canopy bed in little girl’s room

This canopy bed is a perfect fit in her big girl room. It feels so organic and beachy to me. I can’t wait to show you more of her big girl bedroom. I will have a reveal post coming soon.

white linen pillows

The pillowcases have the inside flap that fits over the pillow. Doesn’t the image above just make you want to climb inside this bed? Or maybe I’m just tired because of baby and two toddlers. This is our first time having linen sheets. They feel so light on your body, and they don’t leave you overheated.

pink dress up crown on bed

A bedroom fit for a little princess must have a crown right? We got this dress up crown from RH Baby & Child a while back. I love the whimsy of it, and the kiddos have so much fun playing with it. It is so much fun putting together a little girl’s room. I never knew how much I would love having a little girl until I had Eve.

stacked pillows on a bed

I’m a pillow stacker. Do you stack your pillows or put one in front of the other? The canopy swag you see peeking out is such a great addition to the bed. It evokes such an ethereal mood.
