Throw A Galentine's Day Spa Party
For full disclosure, two weeks ago I had to look up what "Galentine's Day" meant. However now I am completely smitten with the idea. So much so that I decided to throw a Galentine's Day party ... a Galentine's Day Spa Party to be exact ... with the amazing ladies at Dear Sorella. In case you haven't come across them yet, Dear Sorella is "a sister's guide to holistic living." Who better to throw a "love yourself" themed party than with these two talented sisters? In case you are wondering, "sorella" means sister in Italian. Their blog is made up of letters that Kari-Ann + Cindy (real life sisters) write back and forth to each other. Doesn't that just give you goosebumps?
We decided on a black, white, + red color palette since it is Galentine's Day after all. I created Galentine's Day Printables for you to download to make it really easy for you to recreate this party.
We did a Facial Mask Bar that was so much fun! You can download this tent card + the Face Mask labels in my printable collection.
Head on over to Dear Sorella to get the recipes + instructions for the three facial masks you see here: Banana Bright, Sweet + Clear, and Sensitive Skin.
These recipe cards are included in the Galentine's Day printable collection. They would be fun to give out at the party.
We served fruit infused water while guests waited for their turn to be pampered.
We also served Chicken Salad Lettuce Cups for guests to snack on. Dear Sorella suggests the recipe found in the Against All Grain cookbook.
We also set up a nail bar with non-toxi nail polishes! The knowledgeable ladies at Dear Sorella recommend the Mineral Fusion brand. You can find it at Whole Foods.
The ladies from Dear Sorella made these dark chocolate coconut macarons, and holy moly they were so good! Believe it or not, they are low glycemic and much healthier than the "normal" version. You can get this recipe from the Against All Grain cookbook as well.
Hang this Galentine banner on the front of your display table!
We also served Sipp Organic Soda. This pop is so good! I recently gave up processed sugar, and these are made with agave syrup. I wrapped party circles around them.
For party favors, guests left with bath bombs from this adorable shop in Flagstaff, AZ called Fizzy Bella. To make them festive I adorned them with these favor tags.
Happy Galentine's Day! Thanks again to Kari-Ann + Cindy from Dear Sorella.
