I was thrilled to create this black + white Thanksgiving table for the celebrity, Lauren Conrad! I don’t know about you, but I’m not crazy about the earthy colors you usually see in Thanksgiving décor. Brown and burnt orange have never been on my favorite color list, so I decided I’m going to do a little something different this year. Black + white is a big trend in the fashion world right now, so I thought why not carry this trend into my Thanksgiving decor? Presenting the Black + White Thanksgiving! I’ve got some table setting ideas for you. Hope you like!
Since Thanksgiving is all about the food, I like to keep the table décor simple. Don’t worry about running all over town to create the most fabulous centerpiece. Instead just use some black + white items you’ve got laying around the house. I grabbed off my shelves a vase, a plant, some candle antlers, an adorable owl candle (West Elm too), and some leftover Halloween pumpkins (tutorial).
Now that you’ve got your centerpiece squared away, here are a couple of fun ideas to take your table setting to the next level. Drape your table in chalkboard cloth and write “I’m Thankful For ______” next to each guest’s place setting. Your family and friends can write in what they are most thankful for this year. It’s a great conversation starter! The chalkboard cloth also allows you to forgo place cards. Just write your guests’ names above their place settings.
Here are all of my projects for celebrity Lauren Conrad.
